RFID : Smart Card Based attendance systems are very popular.Is cost effective & easy as they are simple to implement. This systems are vandalism free. Is also used as Access Control Systems. Which is a major reason wide range of organisations implement the same.

The Contact less Smart Card Readers are convenient to use and have long life since there is no contact between the sensor and the card. They are available with Keypad for enhanced security with PIN validation. Low cost Alpha readers are ideal for access control/ attendance applications in offices, Schools, Collage etc..

SIFA range of RFID readers work on 125 KHz (EU Marine compatible). The clamshell cards work at a distance of 5-7 cm. The readers are well suited for access control and Time and Attendance application.

The contact less readers use 125 KHz Radio frequency technology. The readers are highly reliable and works up to 5-7 cm distance. The readers can be flush mounted in walls thus completely eliminating vandalism. The readers have a relay to actuate Magnetic lock, Door Strike.

Features:

• Access Control : It can be used as an integrated access control where in an authorized personnel is allowed to enter the premises. The employee must flash the card and enter a 4 digit password to activate the door lock. You can select the time for which the relay should be activated when you have access control door open option enabled reader. You can select 1-9 seconds of door open time.
• Enable / Disable Reader : You can enable or disable one or more readers.
• Set Time : You can set the time for the readers. If more than one readers are installed then the time for all the readers can be synchronized.
• Shift Scheduling : You can create upto 99 different shifts. You can save the shifts assigned to the employees in the readers for one week in advance. For each registered card, the daily time schedule for entry allowed can be programmed for a week. For example card no. 234 will be allowed between 8:00-10:00 ,14:00-16:00 and 20:00-21:00 on Monday and 9:00-18:00 on Tuesday etc.. The reader can be disabled any time using PC.
• Real Time : Clock Readers have Real Time Clock and memory for registering the cards and memory for storing the IN/OUT transactions. The ON time of relay can be programmed.
• Download Data : You can download punches from readers. This downloaded data exists even after clearing the reader punches. The punches can be stored in four formats :
  • As a text file
  • As a table in Access Database
  • As a table in SQL Database
  • As a table in ORACLE Schema
• Download Punches Automatically : You can download the punches automatically from the reader at specified time using two modes. 1. Receive at specific Time.

You can Down load at fixed timings every day with this option e.g. 08:00, 12:45, 15:00 etc. 2. Receive at Specific intervals You can program the reader to download punches at fixed intervals - say every 30 minutes with this option e.g. 08:00, 08:30, 09:00, 09:30 and so on.
